Commercial Building Contractors Examination
PES’s Commercial Building Contractors Examination is accredited by the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA) for use by states as an assessment vehicle in the licensure process.
About NASCLA—The National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA) was founded in 1962 as a nonprofit corporation. Its membership is comprised of states that have enacted laws regulating the business of contracting. NASCLA is dedicated to the mutual assistance of its member states in striving for the better regulation of the construction industry to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the general public.
The NASCLA-Accredited Examination Program is designed to improve the overall quality of contractor licensing examinations, and to reduce redundant licensing examination requirements for contractors by allowing those who pass a NASCLA-accredited examination to send the results to multiple jurisdictions for use within their respective licensure application processes.
PES achieved accreditation under this program by passing a rigorous set of business, financial, security, and psychometric audits.
