Issues
in the Implementation of Computerized Testing
Over the past few years, an increasing number of credentialing
organizations have begun to use computers to administer credentialing
examinations - in part because of the year-round testing that computerized
testing permits and the greater convenience this offers to candidates.
PES currently has 16 clients under contract for computerized testing services,
and others are considering making the transition. To assist organizations
as they evaluate their options, this edition of PES NEWS explores the
many issues involved in the implementation of computerized testing.
